Boulder Symphony Volunteer String Musician Membership
String players who do not hold paid positions in Boulder Symphony are assigned at the beginning of each season to perform with either the Symphony or Sinfonietta by audition.
The Symphony is a full orchestra and generally rehearses in the week or two weeks prior to concerts. The expectations for players in the Symphony will be a higher level of preparation prior to rehearsals and a more professional orchestra attitude.
The Sinfonietta is a string ensemble and rehearses weekly on Sunday evenings with two concerts per season at the end of each semester. The Sinfonietta caters to a more general level of playing, and a more relaxed rehearsal environment.
Boulder Symphony Chorus Membership
The Boulder Symphony Opera & Chorus members have the rare and exciting opportunity to perform in the annual opera and for select concerts throughout the seasons.
Please email, Dana Vachharajani at email@example.com to set up an audition or if you have any questions.
Internships with the symphony
