Destiny's March: 2017-18 Season

2017-18 Season Tickets are no longer on sale.
2018-19 Season Tickets go on sale in May 2018.

Boulder Symphony is excited to announce its upcoming season entitled Destiny's March, with each concert cycle celebrating themes about rebirth, transitions, closing one door and opening the next.

The new season kicks off on Saturday, September 30th:

Sept 30: "Death of the Symphony"
Brahms Symphony no. 4 / Gershwin Piano Concerto in F - Dongni Xie, piano / Jonathan Sokol World Premiere Every of the Time

Oct 28: "Who Killed Classical Music?"
Kids Halloween Concert

Nov 18: "Shakespeare's Potion"
Mendelssohn Midsummer Night’s Dream / Tchaikovsky Romeo & Juliet / Elizabeth Anne Comninellis World Premiere Rose Deep

Dec 20: "Holiday Memories"
A dementia-friendly concert featuring Christmas and holiday favorites.  This chamber music series is an opportunity for those with dementia and their caregivers to enjoy live concerts in a comfortable, low-sensory setting, lead by a credentialed music therapist.

Feb 17: "Composing the End"
Tchaikovsky 6 Pathétique / Liszt Piano Concerto no. 1, Cody Garrison, piano / Jonathan Bingham World Premiere

March 22 - Preview Concert & Final Dress Rehearsal of Annual Opera
Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata

March 24 - Annual Opera

May 5 - "The Sacrificial Youth"
Stravinsky Rite of Spring / Brahms Violin Concerto w/ Phoenix Avalon

Season Passes allow patrons to attend all Symphony concerts for the 2017-18 season.

All season ticket purchasers can pick up their official season tickets at Will Call on September 30th at the first concert.

Season passes do not include special events such as annual fundraisers.  Ticket purchases are non-refundable.
