Devin Patrick Hughes — Conductor

A Family Concert For All Ages - Perfectly Imperfect

This year’s educative and interactive show-within-a-concert presents the theme Perfectly Imperfect — about a visitor who comes to Earth to discover why we have the best music in the galaxy. This unique concert explores the many diverse elements that come together to create the magic of Symphonic music.

Concert music will feature highlights from Mozart’s Violin Concerto in G, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Mozart’s Symphony 40, Grieg’s Morning Mood, Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra, John Williams’ Cantina Song from Star Wars, Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, and Strauss’ Radetzky March… and more!

Children are ALWAYS free
to CURIOSITY concerts -- we'll have fun and hands-on learning and activities for the whole family, such as:

  • Fun in-concert trivia with prizes and a chance to conduct the orchestra!

  • Instrument Petting Zoo

  • The whole orchestra donning Halloween Costumes — the audience is invited to join in dressing for this occasion

We will also feature a variety of partners and collaborators including Boulder MUSE's Youth Ensemble, the Longmont Youth Symphony, and Woodsongs Music Store.
